System was easy to install and setup. Either that or I got lucky. Immediately after I setup and wired the whole process, I tried to use the owner's manual to setup the World-wide-web connection. I even bought an additional modem just for this system. The issue started when absolutely nothing I did would work. I had to Google completely to find a phone number for the company. I left a type message for a return call. With no call back, I left yet another call. I repeated this method with them each and every day for the past 3 weeks. They are yet to return my call. The service is not good. I am now going to have to hire a person to assist me finish the setup. So beware of the bad service and be prepared to invest far more money out of pocket to finish the setup. Hindsight becoming 20/20 - I wish I had bought from someone else. Since I have spent hours installing the method, it is as well late to return it. Don't make the same mistake I produced!
The Dowson 8 Channel DVR w/color/IR cams is a superb setup. Setup and configurations was straightforward. When setup properly, the cams/dvr display very good good quality video.
I would most definitely by alot more solutions from the Dowson Vender.
