I bought this Camera package for a 2nd dwelling. I was impressed with the size of the hard drive and the quantity of record time that was given (2.5 Yrs). I figured if I got have of that it would be excellent. We got 6 DAYS and that's with the method set to record motion only. The problem I identified is at Night bugs set it off. And if you set the sensativity low sufficient that bugs don't set it off it will not pickup a human. (not great) So it ends up recording all night and thats with only 9 of the 16 cameras hooked up. So setting up alarms to go to e-mail would be a nightmare. it woudl send all night.
We did have difficulty with the brackets not holding but I had no trouble receiving replacements by means of buyer service.

General, I am incredibly happy with this product, but it does have troubles with the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has an adjustible elbo that is pretty very easy to screwup. As soon as you adjust the camera to your desired field of view, you may obtain that you can not tighten down the mount to hold the camera steady. I have mounted 11 camera's and had a complicated time with the mounts on four of them. I have located that if you are pretty gentle and try not to move the elbo at all you can get a good tight mount that will not swing in the wind.
