Video compression format: MPEG4 and Motion JPEG, recording resolutions up to 640 x 480 NTSC. Advanced event search feature is available, search recorded files by year, month, date, hour. Simultaneously record and monitor 16 cameras. This listing is for hardware only. Software is free. Intensive PC and CCTV technical knowledge and experience are required for installation. Installation support is not included. It works with Intel PC with Windows XP and 2000, 98. It does not work with Windows 7 and Vista 64 bit. AMD computer will not work. Words fail to describe how negative this product is. The initial sign of trouble was when it came with a hand-burned CD-R with a 1 inch by two inch printed label. Not one SHRED of other documentation.
The installation went fine Until it got to the point of requesting a file method to FORMAT ahead of it could proceed. Bear in mind, NO documentation is accessible just yet. Format my C drive? I don't assume so.
Saying "NO" to that input causes a cascade of failures that cannot appear to be set ideal once again.
Any try to address the computer software causes it to set my screen resolution to a single that my monitor does not assistance.
